Ben-Ko-Matic became an Elgin dealer in 1982 and a Vactor dealer in 1995. In 2006, the company was sold and changed its name to Owen Equipment Company. Four years later, Owen Equipment expanded into California and Nevada to serve a population of over 21 million citizens in the western United States.
Today, Owen Equipment is one of the top four Vactor/Elgin dealers in the
United States, having sold over 300 new sewer cleaners, vacuum excavators, street sweepers and camera systems. We service a machine population of over 500 units working out in the field.
We boast four full-service locations in Portland, Oregon; Kent, Washington; Fairfield, California; and Salt Lake City, Utah. And we are the largest supplier in the West of replacement brushes and brooms for sweeping equipment.
We recently acquired Cal-Line Equipment and Blaze Equipment, strengthening our position in the essential equipment market. And we continue to reinvest in our business to provide our team with the best facilities and tools, so we can serve you even better.
